Draw in illustrator using the brushes an artistic portrait of your favorite cartoon character or childhood personality. Yes...this includes muppets:) Please do a speech bubble of your character's signature line. Select text that is appropriate to the character's personality and alter using the create outlines function. Please have this printed out for your sketchbook. We will be viewing digital copies in class. Make sure that sketchbook stays current and be sure to review the random tidbits of information that you have gotten over the course of the class.
