Please have the following for Monday:
Your book / story designed -
Must have front cover (title, byline, image)
Interior spreads - must have one drop cap (only use one...don't do one a paragraph), body copy, use a modular grid. Move the eye logically but use white space. Have fun with the grid and the text. Fix widows and orphans.
Back cover
Can be 4 to 8 pages no larger. Only work in increments of four or will not work as a booklet. Please save this (use export feature) to pdf. Have pdf ready to view in class for Monday.
Also please review over your notes for a small quiz on Wednesday next week. Review over the InDesign features that we talked about in class today and your notes on type & grids.
