CRITIQUE DAY

2. Finals *must have copy of all three ads in folder and must be cut down to size with the bleed to 8.5x11. Will be printed on 11x17 (do not change the document size. change the paper size keep at 8.5x11 to print - change page setup in printer setup aka info box after press command p)

CRITIQUE PRESENTATION
Must have your favorite ad under glass. This is what you will discuss during the presentation. The other ads will graded not discussed in class. You need to have a separate copy printed for under glass. Please dress in business casual wear for the critique (no jeans or tennis shoes). Make sure your cuts on the final are precise (part of the craftsmanship area of the grade). Be ready to talk about design decisions like how you spoke in your summary. Talk about the companies background, why chose to design the ad the way you did and what design principles did you utilize to emphasize the tag. How does the tag support the brand and create a call to action for the viewer.

Please have your in class assignment from Friday printed off and ready to look over on Monday. Those that were not here please choose a song with a color in it. Match to a pantone swatch - recreate the swatch in illustrator (pantone uses helvetica font - please use) Please view the examples and match your look to them while using the song of your choice. Should be on 8.5x11 document, white background, landscape orientation.
