Friday, Nov. 22

Please have your guerilla marketing down and out of your spaces no later than Friday. Must be completely returned to original space to get full credit. Please take down your frames out of the hallway with your posters as well.

For Friday, please have your website designed in InDesign printed off at the start of class on Friday. We are going to get started right away and you will be counted down if not ready at the start of class. You must have a badly designed website redesigned in InDesign / main page content retranslated onto a grid and an interior page of your choosing retranslated onto the same grid. Have these printed off in color on 8.5x11. Also please bring your files that you designed for your modular grid poster. We will be altering these in class on Friday.

Don't forget about AIGA on Thursday night, 5:30 in A72. We will be talking about our graphic design video for the art department Christmas party, Feb's poster sale and last of the semester wrap up info.

BE THINKING ABOUT YOUR CATALOG
-Think about your collection. We will start working on research, visual brief, etc. when we get back on Monday from vacation. How are you going to shoot it, style it, what kind of look are you going for, etc?

-Also after Friday all our grid assignments will be done. You will have the remaining two weeks to work through another draft of either your brochure, newsletter and or website pages. You will turn in a final job folder of all these grid projects completed (for those of you not quite done with the daily assignments - worked out with changes mentioned) and then the final that you have done past the two rough process. This will be turned in with your final portfolio for the class and your catalog on the final day for the class.

-After Thanksgiving week / we will talk about how to shoot your work. (You will want to make sure you have copies of all your pieces with changes suggested in your critique sheets. We will be shooting them that week). After you get these images shot and toned we will then upload them to Behance and get them ready for the final portfolio.
