Redesign a bad website using heirachal grid. Have it printed off and ready to go in your sketchbook. Don't forget that old one to see how you made this new one look. Also take a look at content and see if there is anyway to simplify and catergorize information. If they have bad photos...make them better, if they have bad fonts, choose wisely. Also don't forget to have four links ready of good webdesign to look at. Look at them for grid and how they might shake up the grid a little.
Also...gallery stuff this week.
Meagan Comeaux / graphics major will be in the student gallery with a design show on rockabily. Come and check it out in the student gallery across from the main art gallery and wellness center. It will be starting at 5:30 pm with refreshments on Wednesday, Nov. 10. Remember you have to go to 75% of these. You have had one show thus far with 4 left.
Ken Shipley / potter will be in the main gallery with a slide lecture and gallery talk at 4:30 pm on Thrusday, November 11. It will have refreshments as well. I will be taking attendance. Stop in and make sure to see me so that I can get you marked down.
